Ellery Scott is the program manager for internal communications at the Government Accountability Office (GAO). Prior to joining GAO in 2007, she worked as an editor at the American Institutes for Research and served two tours as a Peace Corps Volunteer (Mali, West Africa 1995-1997; Mongolia 2002). Ellery earned an MFA in Creative Writing from the University of Maryland, College Park, in 2002. She lives in Silver Spring, Maryland, with her husband and son.
